Meinart Park is an expansive, 182-acre waterfront park featuring sand dunes, trails and panoramic views. The beach is 1/3 of a mile long with sand dunes. Amenities include charcoal grills, picnic tables, swings and slide, bathrooms, and a deck.

Michigan Adventure amusement and water park is within a 15 min. drive. There is a 22-mile long Bicycle Trail 10 min. away. Take a canoeing trip on the primitive white river. Visit the Double JJ ranch & water park. Drive up to Silver Lake Dunes for dune buggy rides. Visit Montague or Whitehall for small town shops, antique stores, and restaurants. Go fishing on White Lake or Lake Michigan. There are 5 public golf courses within a 15 min. drive.
